This is a pair of Plasma Agate cabochons, not exactly matched, but from the same stone. The material is from an area north of Coalinga, California, and to our understanding, is a brecciated Serpentine material which was later filed with Opal, or silicified. They are each 37 x 15 mm and 8 mm thick. Together they weigh 56 carats, or roughly 28 ct. each.

[Another image on darker background]These are two teardrop-shaped cabochons cut from Rhyolite, also known as Wonderstone. They are not identical, but are cut from the same rock. They are both just over 22 x 38 mm and 5 mm thick.
