This is is another Agate slab, off the same rock as the above slab, #1880. As noted above, it may or may not be a Death Valley Wingate slab, but from all the online photos I've compared it to, it seems like it to me. This one is about 3" x 2 1/4" at its wider points, and 7 mm thick. It weighs 359 carats, or 71.8 grams (2.5 ounces). It has a fracture near one edge as you can see in the photos, and several porous areas.

This is a Moss Agate slab, not sure of where from. It is about 2 1/2" x 2 1/8" and 7 mm thick. It weighs 60 grams, or 2.2 ounces. It's natural coloring is not as bright as it looks in the photos, but as I've often seen with Moss Agates, it comes to life in the sunshine. It was photographed wet.

[A closer shot] [Other side] [Close-up] [Another close-up] [Closer shot] [Photographed dry]This is a gorgeous slice of Flame Agate! We believe this material came from Mexico. There are a few possible weak areas, a little pitting and a few possible fractures, but it seems pretty solid overall. A number of awesome cabs should be possible. It is roughly 6 3/4" x 2 1/8" and 7 mm thick. It weighs 160 grams, or 5.7 ounces. Inside, with just room lighting it looks a little darker than it appears in the photos. But in light it comes to life and is just stunning!

This is a small Agate slab. It has the coloring of Wingate Agate from Death Valley (rare and no longer able to be collected if so), and looking very close, that's what I think it is. I thought at first that it might be some type of Mexican Agate, but I'm guessing it is Wingate. Aside from the beautiful coloring, notice the amazing detail of the tiny blue agate area, with little sagenite needles! It is just a stunning piece - whether it is shaped into a cab, or just polished for its beauty as is. Please note there is a fracture off to one edge, just outside the sagenite area, if cabbing is planned. It is about 2 1/4" x 1 1/2 to 1 7/8" and 5 mm thick. It weighs 183 carats, or 36.7 grams (1.3 ounces). To me, awesome beauty in this little slab! (A further note - had responses that this piece may be from Big Diggins, New Mexico.)

This is a small rough chunk of Maury Mountain Moss Agate. One small area is sliced flat, but most is just the rough material. It is about 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and mostly between 9 - 22 mm thick. It weighs 96 grams, or 3.4 ounces. Please note that the natural coloring of this material is not as bright as it looks in the photos, but it comes to life in the sunshine. It was photographed wet.

This is a nice slab of Texas Moss Agate. It is 3 1/4" x 1 7/8" at its wider points, and 5-6 mm thick, weighing 43 grams, or 1.5 ounces. This is really neat material, I don't think the photos do it justice.
