Jadeite Slab

Blue/Green Guatemalan Jadeite Slab with Hint of Purple

This is a piece of Jadeite from Guatemala. It has gorgeous color - a beautiful blue/green, and stunning translucence when held up to the light as well. The darker splashes of color look like they are actually purple. It is a little over 3 1/8" x 3 3/4" at its widest points, and 6 mm thick. It weighs 100 grams, or 3.5 ounces (about 503 carats). It has several fractures as visible in the photos, but plenty of room for several high quality, gorgeous cabochons!

Purple Jade Slab

Purple Jade Slab from Turkey

This is a nice piece of purple Jade. It is not quite as dark as it looks in the photos, but still really nice potential. It is about 2 1/2" x just under 2" and 7 mm thick. It weighs 334 carats, or 66.8 grams (2.3 ounces). Please note that the white spots you see in the photos are just light reflections.

This is another piece of purple Jade from Turkey. It is not quite as dark as it looks in the photos, but a nice piece. It is about 2 3/4" x 2" and 7 mm thick. It weighs 348 carats, or 69 grams (2.4 ounces).

This is another nice, solid slab of purple Jade from Turkey, nice mottling in this piece. It is roughly 3 3/4" x 1 to 3"and 7 mm thick. It weighs 120 grams, or 4.3 ounces. It was photographed wet.

Jade Magnitite Slab

Rare Old Stock Jade with Magnitite Slab

This is a slab of rare Nephrite Jade with Maganitite flowers in it. We believe the material was collected from near Victorville, in the Mojave Desert of Southern California, very hard to find these days, especially in the quality of this piece. It is 4" x 2 3/4" and 6 mm thick. It weighs 120 grams, or 4.4 ounces. Note that oval templates had been drawn by the previous owner. It was photographed wet in all the photos.

Purple Jade Slab

Small Purple Jade Slab with Hints of Pinkish

This is a nice piece of purple Jade from Turkey. This material is beautiful, but please note that the coloring of this piece, and the next item below this one, is not quite as intense as it looks in the photos. (I'm breaking in a new camera, and haven't quite mastered it yet for more accurate coloring. It's a little closer to this than how it looked with the older camera, as with the other purple Jade items pictured below the next item, but not quite this intense.) There is kind of a mottled look in this piece, almost a pink. There is a pencil mark along the edge, but should easily erase or polish off. It is about 2" x 1 3/8 to 2 1/8" and 7 mm thick. It weighs 245 carats, or 49 grams (1.7 ounces).

Small Purple Jade Slabs

Two Small Purple Jade Slab Pieces

These are two small pieces of purple Jade from Turkey. This material is beautiful, but as noted above, the coloring is not quite as intense as these look in the photos. (I'm breaking in a new camera, and haven't quite mastered it yet for more accurate coloring. It's a little closer to this than how it looked with the older camera, as with the other purple Jade items pictured below, but not quite this intense.) The larger one has pencil lines on the back that easily erase or polish off. The small one is just a tiny piece for perhaps a very small cab if you cut them that small. The larger piece is 2 3/8" x 1 1/8" and 7 mm thick. Together they weigh 131 carats, or 26 grams (9/10 of an ounce).

This is a nice, small piece of purple Jade from Turkey. It has pencil lines on the back that easily erase or polish off. It is 2 1/4" x 1 3/8"and 7 mm thick. It weighs 140 carats, or 28 grams (1 ounce).

Jade Slab

Large Nephrite Jade Slab

This is a piece of Nephrite Jade, locality unknown. It is 6 1/2" x 5 5/8" at its widest points, and 5 mm thick. It weighs 255 grams, or 9.1 ounces. It is a nice, large slab with plenty of room for a number of beautiful cabs. The main photo, and a few others, were photographed with light from behind.

Flower Jade Slab

Nephrite Flower Jade Slab

This is a piece of Flower Jade, a rare Nephrite Jade from near Porterville, California - an area that is no longer available to collectors. It is 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" at its widest points, and 5 mm thick. It weighs 220 grams, or 7.8 ounces. There are some fracture lines to contend with if cabs are intended, but it would also be a nice display. It was photographed wet except one image.
