Picture Jasper Slab

Large, Thick Picture Jasper Slab

This is a large, thick slice of Picture Jasper. It looks like it might be African Queen, but we aren't positive. It measures 7" x 5 1/4" at its widest points, and it is thick - a little over 1" thick. While not fully polished, it is very smooth and feels like it has had a degree of grinding/polishing. It's a beautiful large slice!

This one is just under your 6x4 - 5 1/4" x 3 7/8" x little over 3/4" thick. Like the picture jasper above, it is not fully polished, but it is very smooth on all sides and edges, and feels like it has had some grinding/polishing.

Verde Antique Marble Slab

Verde Antique Marble Slab

7" x 6" at its widest points, and like the Amethyst above, it may be a little too thin - 8 mm, or 5/16" thick. It's rough and unpolished on both sides. As an example, both sides are shown dry then wet, to give you an idea of what it would look like if polished. On the edges, three sides are the natural rock, and the other is just a rough break of the rock.

Condor Agate Slab

Nearly Full Slice Pastel Condor Agate Slab with Parallax

This is another unpolished slice from a Condor Agate. It is just shy of being a full slice except on the two ends, where the agate is exposed along the edge. Oh how I wish it did not have the fractures! As with the piece above, it unfortunately does, but it is just a beautiful slice of rock none-the-less. See the blue ribbon around the edge of it all - it practically glows, and has areas of parallax - awesome! It is 6 1/4" x just under 4" at its widest points, and it tapers from 4 to 6 mm in thickness. It weighs 6.4 ounces, or 180 grams. If cabbing is preferred, there is plenty of room for a number of gorgeous cabs; but even with the fractures, it would be a beautiful polished stone.

Condor Agate Slab

Full Slice Colorful Condor Agate Slab

This is a gorgeous, unpolished full slice from a larger Condor Agate. The colors are stunning, and carnival like, almost like a skilled artist painted this beauty! This piece would be absolute killer if it did not have the fractures. However, it unfortunately does. But to me, even with the fractures, it is just an amazing slice of rock. It is 6 1/2" x 3 3/8" at its widest points, and 8 mm thick. It weighs 230 grams, or 8.2 ounces. You could certainly cut a number of beautiful cabs from this one, but to me, it would be an amazing polished specimen slab, despite the fractures.

Jade Slab

Large Nephrite Jade Slab

This is a piece of Nephrite Jade, locality unknown. It is 6 1/2" x 5 5/8" at its widest points, and 5 mm thick. It weighs 255 grams, or 9.1 ounces. It is a nice, large slab with plenty of room for a number of beautiful cabs. The main photo, and a few others, were photographed with light from behind.

Rhodonite Slab

Large Rhodonite Slab, Lots of Pink

This is a larger slab of Rhodonite, lots of pink in it, less black. We aren't sure where this piece came from, possibly Lime Kiln Creek along the California coast(?). It was photographed outside, on the ground in natural light in the main shot. The color is closest to this photo. The other photos, as seen in the slide show, were taken inside, on black background under fluorescent lighting. The black looks greenish on those, but it is actually black. It also has kind of a dirty film on it. That might be in the material, or possibly oil residue, though it does not feel like oil. So it may or may not go away when polished. It is 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" and 10 mm thick. It weighs 580 grams, or 1 pound, 4 ounces.

Large Rose Plume Agate Slab

This is a large slice of Rose Plume Agate. The material comes from the Graveyard Point area near the Oregon/Idaho border in the Owyhee Mountains. It is roughly 10" x 3 1/2" and 7 mm thick. It weighs 355 grams, 12.5 ounces. It was photographed wet.

Large Stone Canyon Brecciated Jasper-Agate Slab

This is a large slab of Stone Canyon Jasper-Agate. This piece is roughly 6 1/2" x 5 5/8" and 6 mm thick, weighing 275 grams, or 9.7 ounces. It was photographed wet. Note that it is not quite as bright as it appears in the photos.
