Large Willow Creek Porcelain Jasper Slab

This is a nice, larger slab of Willow Creek Jasper. Willow Creek Jasper is a high quality, porcelain jasper from Idaho. This beauty is about 4 3/8" x 4 1/4",and just under 8 mm thick. It weighs 7.9 ounces, or 225 grams. There are a few fracture lines and iron spots to work around, but plenty of room for some amazing, high quality cabs!

Willow Creek Porcelain Jasper Slab with Agate Area

This is a slab of Willow Creek Jasper. Several fractures and some staining in this one, but if you cut smaller cabs, and perhaps more non-traditional cabs, or even if you just like pretty stones, I think this one has potential. Notice the small area of agate between the matrix and the jasper - kind of looks like little flowers to me. It is about 3" x 3 1/2" but one side has an area of the rough rock, thinner and not useable (last photo of slide show). Other than that area,it is 7 mm thick. It weighs 2.8 ounces, or 75 grams.

Mauve Willow Creek Porcelain Jasper Slab

This is another slab of Willow Creek Jasper. It has a mauve-color to it, and kind of a 'velvety' look to me, with ripply line patterns. Most lines look like they are part of the material or possibly healed fractures, though a few are definitely fractures. There is a very neat looking agate area between the matix and the jasper - interesting non-traditional cab potential to me (i.e., 'me' is Rhonda, who does not do the cutting!). It is roughly 4 1/4" x 3" and 6 mm thick. It weighs 4.5 ounces, or 125 grams.

Willow Creek Jasper Slab

Small Mauve Willow Creek Porcelain Jasper Slab

This is another, smaller slab of Willow Creek Jasper. It has a mauve-color to it, and kind of a 'velvety' look to me, with ripply line patterns. You should be able to get at least one or two beautiful smaller cabs from this piece. It is roughly 3" x 2 1/4" including the matrix area, and just over 5 mm thick. It weighs 1.5 ounces, or 40 grams.
