This is a Graveyard Plume Agate cabochon. It is a very large free-form design, being just under 85 x 46 mm (3 1/3" x a little less than 1 7/8"). It weighs 33.1 grams, or 1.2 ounces. Large Stone Canyon Jasper Cabochon

This is a large cabochon cut from Stone Canyon Brecciated Jasper. It is 90 x 35 mm (3 1/2" x 1 3/4"), and a little over 6 mm thick. It weighs 102 carats. The back has a finsih on it as well. It is brighter than it looks in most of the photos of the slide show, but not as bright as it looks in the one on black background. A beautiful stone and shape, ready for a special setting. Paul Bunyan Plume Agate Specimen Cabochon

This is a large and beautiful Paul Bunyan Plume Agate cabochon. It is 67 x 30 mm at the widest points, and 5 mm thick. It weighs 67 carats. It is nicely polished on both the front as well as on the back. S.A. Wittick is the artist on this piece. It is a nice specimen cabochon from this rare material, but would also make a stunning focal point in a special jewelry design! Large Coyamito Cabochon

219 ct Coyamito Agate Specimen Cabochon

This is a polished slice from a Coyamito Agate from Chihuahua, Mexico. A beautiful amber-colored fortification ribbon around the edge of this beauty, with a slight hint of parallax in one area. It is open at the top but from the back side, you can see it is lightly connected on the back. It has a polish on both sides, but the edge has been left natural (except the bottom area where the rock was chipped into when digging it out). It is roughly 3" x 2" and 6-7 mm thick, weighing 219 carats, or 44 grams (1.5 ounces). This would make a stunning focal point as a large necklace, but equally as awesome just as a specimen. This is a colorful Jasper cabochon. We think the material came from the Mojave Desert of California. In natural lighting, it looks darker, closer to how it looks in one of the last two photos. Rutilated Quartz Cabochon

Huge 176 ct Rutilated Quartz Cabochon

This is a large piece of Quartz, filled with golden Rutile spikes, gently sculpted into a freeform, triangular shaped cabochon. You can even catch a small glimps of rainbow colors in it, like an iris-affect (apparently that's visible because of small feathers inside the stone) on one corner when moved in the light - awesome! It weighs 176 carats! It measures 45 x 41 mm at its widest points, and has a thick, dome shape that rounds off around 17 mm high. The back is not totally flat, but has a slight curve to it. There is a small 6 mm wide feather near the bottom edge on one side, visible in several of the shots. To use as the focal point of a jewelry piece just realize how large it is in thickness, but it would be gorgeous, or 'stunningly' as the case could be! (You can tell it's not Ed that writes this, right?) First Class Shipping for less available upon request. This is a Mexican Flame Agate cabochon, with fiery red plumes in it. In natural lighting it looks very dark with just a hint of the beautiful colors that lie within it. But it comes to awesome life when viewed moved in sunlight (see next second photo) or direct lighting. You can see little white void streaks in the detail picked up by the camera, but those are not noticeable when looking at it directly.
