Amethyst Stalactite

Dark Purple Amethyst Stalactite Flower with Nice Center Tube

This Amethyst Stalactite slice has a nicely-formed center tube and is surrounded by dark purple Amethyst crystals. On the 'back' side the tube has faded away and there is just a subtle color change in the center. The tan residue visible in some of the crystals might be removable with a little cleaning, not sure. The size of this one is about 3" x 2" and 17-18 mm thick. It weighs 124.2 grams, or 4.4 ounces.

Amethyst Stalactite

Amethyst Crystal Specimen with Two Polished Stalactite Faces

This is a wonderful Amethyst display specimen. It has sparkling 'mounds' with some peaks and valleys of lavendar crystals and two peach and white sliced stalactite faces filled with agate that have been nicely polished. While sliced on the bottom to lay flat, it can also be positioned to stand. It measures about 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 2" and weighs 411.8 grams, or 14.5 ounces.

Morocco Stalactite Geode

Morocco Amethyst Quartz Geode with Stalactites

This is a wonderful specimen, an Amethyst Geode from Morocco! It is filled with stalactite crystals. The coloring of the crystals has a reddish tint, we believe from Hematite. It is a complete nodule, able to be fit together. However, please note that it is delicate and we would recommend against handling it much once received. From the photos you can tell that besides the line that separates the nodule halves, there is another fracture line. It is not loose at this time, and to our knowledge, or from what we can tell, it has not been glued. But it is none-the-less an absolutely stunning display! It measures roughly 4" x 3" x 3 3/4" and weighs 1 lb 6 ounces, or 620 grams. You will receive both sides of this exact unique piece.

Druse Amethyst Flower

Beautiful Botryoidal Druse Amethyst Flower

This is another beauty, an Amethyst Flower, from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It has botryoidal nodules (bubbly, grape-like shapes), covered in tiny druze crystals. It is 6" x 3" at its widest points, and is as thick 24 mm high off the surface. It weighs 5.9 ounces, or 169.6 grams.
