This page has a variety of Mexican Agates, such as Moctezuma, Parcelas, Mexican Crazy Lace, Laguna Lace and others, that we offer for sale. You may find some Laguna, Agua Nueva and Coyamito agates on this page, but they have their own pages as well if you are specifically interested on more of the one type. We charge one shipping cost for all that will safely fit in the box and will ship to the U.S. as well as Internationally. For International orders, there may be an additional shipping cost. Parcelas Agate

Domed Parcelas Agate Nodule

This is a Parcelas Agate nodule, domed on the top, the rough nodule on the back. These agates come from near where Laguna Agates are collected, and are often filled with little 'snowy' flakes as you see in this one! It measures roughly 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" and tapers from the sides to center up to 13 mm. It weighs 25 grams, or 9/10 of an ounce. Please note that the coloring is whiter than it appears in the further away shots. A very neat specimen to add to any collection.

Laguna Agate

Laguna Agate Nodule Collector Specimen with Sagenite Pom-Poms

This is a gorgeous polished Laguna Agate from the Alianza Claim in Mexico. It has pink/purple fortification and ribbon patterns as well as areas of sagenite needles and pom-pom formations. It measures approximately 3 3/4" x 3" on the sliced face, and up to about 3" thick, with a weight of 1 lb, 4 ounces, or 610 grams. It is a stunning piece for display by collectors of agates and lovers of the natural beauty found in rocks.

Laguna Agate

Colorful Laguna Agate Nodule Collector Specimen

This polished Laguna Agate is from the Alianza Claim. It is a colorful example of the amazing stones that come out of Mexico! In natural lighting it looks brownish along the edges and you notice the red ribbon surrounding the solid crystals in the center. But when you focus a light on it, the reddish-brown edge thins out and the bands of blue, yellows and peach become visible! It even appears to have a little chromatography in one corner (as I understand, simply, that means - color change in the agate that does not follow the normal colors in the bands). It has flaws along one edge, visible in the photos, plus what looks like light scratches, but those are not visible to me in-hand, even under lighting. It measures over 3 3/4" x 1 5/8" on the face x up to 2" thick. The weight is 7.4 ounces (211 grams). It is a unique specimen for collectors of agates.

Laguna Agate

'Baby' Laguna Agate with Tube Eye and Slight Parallax

This is a beautiful, small 'baby' Laguna Agate. The slicing of the stone cut through the face of a nice size eye of a tube, and if you rock the stone slightly back and forth you can detect a little parallax as well (parallax is a shadow effect, as if one can see it in 3D, down into the stone). It measures 2 1/2" x roughly 1 to 1 1/2" at the wider points, and a little over 1/2" thick. The weight is 42.6 grams, or 1.5 ounces. It's a very neat small collectable display piece.

Moctezuma Agate

Polished Butter/Peach Moctezuma Agate with Slight Parallax, Side 1

This is a gorgeous, small stone! It is a Moctezuma Agate from Mexico with parallax in it (a shadow effect). It measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" at its wider points, and 17.6 mm thick. It weighs 28 grams, or 1 ounce.

Laguna Agate

Fantastic Premium Laguna Agate Half Nodule

This gorgeous Laguna Agate specimen from the Alianza Claim in Mexico has already sold. We might have an unpolished slice off this same stone, but also a few other Laguna or Mexican Agate specimens available. This one is one of the most beautiful Mexican Agates we have cut. It measures 3" x 2 1/4" at the widest points, and is a little less than 2" thick. The weight is 260 grams, or 9.2 ounces.
