Rainforest Jasper Slab

Large Rainforest Jasper Slab, 9" x 5 1/4"

This is a large, unpolished slice of Rainforest Jasper. There are a few pockets filled with agate, some jasper or rhyolite, and others that are a chalky white or yellowish, and some open pockets. It measures approximately 9" x 5 1/4" at the widest points, mostly 7.5-8.5 mm thick. It was photographed inside under lighting, and the last two photos are dry. Both sides are shown.

Rainforest Jasper Slab

Large Rainforest Jasper End-piece Slab

This is a really pretty large, unpolished slice of Rainforest Jasper. Sliced flat on one side, it has the rough outside of the stone itself. There are several agate-filled pockets, a few filled with rhyolite, and a few open pockets. It measures approximately 6 3/4" x a little over 5" at the widest points. The rough back is uneven, but mostly between 6 and 13 mm, and a small area as think as about 4 mm. It was photographed inside under lighting, and the last two photos are dry. Both sides are shown. Very neat piece for display, polished or unpolished as it is, but one could certainly cut a number of cabs as well.

Jade Slab

Large Dark Green Nephrite Jade Slab

This is a large slice of Jade. It is a nice solid piece. In hand it looks almost black, but it is actually green, and it does have some translucense to it, visible in one of the photos taken with light from behind. Locality is unknown, but guessing possibly California. It weighs 1 lb, 2 ounces, or 505 grams, and measures roughly 8" x 5 1/4" x 7.2 mm.

Large Wild Horse Jasper Slab

Large Over 10" x 10" Wild Horse Picture Jasper Slab

This is a very large slab from what we think was a huge rock of Wild Horse Picture Jasper. We never saw the original stone it was sliced from, just came to us as this large beauty. It is more impressive in-hand because of its size than it looks in the photos. It is not polished but has had some grinding so it's suitable for display even as is (my opinion). There are several 'pictures' visible in it, though can't imagine anyone choosing to cut it down. It measures very roughly 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" and is 7 mm thick. It weighs 2 lbs, 5 ounces, or 1.06 kgs. Large Plume Agate Slab

Large 9" x 8" Plume Agate Slab

This is a gorgeous, large, unpolished slice of Plume Agate. We believe it is a slice from the Graveyard Point area near the Oregon/Idaho border in the Owyhee Mountains. It is roughly 9 3/8" x 8" at its widest points, and a little less than 1/4" thick, at 5 mm. This large beauty weighs a full 1 pound, or 450 grams. A beautiful large slice of this material!
