This is a fantastic natural crystal of Rutilated Smoky Quartz. It is listed among our rough material for cutting and polishing stones, but it appears to me as a wonderful mineral specimen as well, so I've included it on this page with Minerals. It is filled with beautiful golden Rutile needles, including a highly desireable starburst pattern (second photo). It weighs 338 grams, or 11.9 ounces, and measures roughly 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" at its wider points. It is rough and uncut.

This is a wonderful specimen, an Amethyst Geode from Morocco! It is filled with stalactite crystals. The coloring of the crystals has a reddish tint, we believe from Hematite. It is a complete nodule, able to be fit together. However, please note that it is delicate and we would recommend against handling it much once received. From the photos you can tell that besides the line that separates the nodule halves, there is another fracture line. It is not loose at this time, and to our knowledge, or from what we can tell, it has not been glued. But it is none-the-less an absolutely stunning display! It measures roughly 4" x 3" x 3 3/4" and weighs 1 lb 6 ounces, or 620 grams. You will receive both sides of this exact unique piece.

This is a beautiful crystal specimen, full of a wonderful spray of crystals! It is roughly 2" x 1 7/8" x 1 1/2" and weighs 3.9 ounces, or 112.4 grams. The matrix has what we believe is green Fluroite in it, while the most captivating part of this is the spray of crystals on the other side. We think they're Quartz, but there is a lustre on them we're not used to on Quartz. It was collected by an individual whose treasures we acquired, collected between the 1950's and 1980's. This one was in a box labeled as Fluorite, and we're pretty sure the green IS Fluorite. He collected extensively in the Mojave Desert of California, and that's where we think this one was collected. The Fluorite areas on it fluoresce purple under UV light.

This is another beauty, an Amethyst Flower, from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It has botryoidal nodules (bubbly, grape-like shapes), covered in tiny druze crystals. It is 6" x 3" at its widest points, and is as thick 24 mm high off the surface. It weighs 5.9 ounces, or 169.6 grams.
